This essential collection of Benjamin Bear singles is more than just a melting pot of random songs. Each track is definitely fresh and full of Bear's versatile talent, and there's more than an hour's worth of music that will literally have you hitting replay over and over again.

SCRUB CLUB: "NONCENTS VOL. 2"
SCRUB CLUB RECORDS 2008

16 tracks of recovered or online-only audio collected over the last two years and put onto one cd for you to enjoy. Includes 2 outer artist remixes by MadHatter, a dope megamix by CutterJ, 10 never before released Scrub Club tracks, and even 2 ancient Shadow Puppets tracks, heard here for the first time in 8 years!

You will find recording messups, covers of the songs "Crank That" by Soulja Boy Tell 'Em and "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot, and even the insanely hilarious diss track "Scram."

DJ CUTTERJ : "THE BODY ABSURD VOL. 1" SCRUB CLUB RECORDS 2007

CutterJ's first release since his induction into Scrub Club!
Almost 30 minutes worth of unexpected and fresh tunes with surprises that keep sneaking up on you when you last expect it. J's musicality is unmatched, and the multitude of styles he puts together flow so well, you'll start to question the very laws of genres themselves.

You will find yourself looping this over and over, and you'll probably catch yourself in the act of dancing as well. A must-have download for anyone that digs all formats of music.

SCRUB CLUB RECORDS SURVIVAL KIT 2008
THE FRESHEST PRESS KIT EVER

Coming soon to a mail box near you, if we find you important to our plans for takeover, will be a mysterious package filled with items necessary to survive after The Collapse destroys the music industry.

Its contents are top secret to anyone not receiving the package. Classification of the powerful materials and media inside is needed in order to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. Not to sound like a bomb threat or anything equally stupid, but trust us on this... Scrub Club will be heard when these Pandora's boxes are opened.

MADHATTER: "8BIT BULLSHIT"
OLDSCHOOL NINTENDO NERDS REJOICE!

Following up on the underground success of Hatter's Zelda song "Ganon Slayer," this album takes a journey to the world of eight bit superheroes of the past, with each song describing the game from the main character's point of view. Most of the classics have been covered here, and certain punchlines and metaphors will have oldschool cats laughing out loud. Featuring the actual in-game NES music ripped out, remixed, and given fresh new beats, the instrumentals alone will have you grinning. A release that will definitely put Scrub Club on the nerdcore charts, this cd is packed with so much 80s time-warp freshness that Stephen Hawking's head exploded.

SCRUB CLUB: "NONCENTS VOL. 1"
UNRELEASED AND RARE, RECOVERED AUDIO

A collection of rare and online-only audio collected over a few years and put onto one cd for you to enjoy. Includes 5 collaboration songs between MadHatter and other outside artists, 7 never-released SCR songs, and even 2 individual songs from former Scrub Club artists TNA and C.O.S.

You will find a spoken word freestyle, a cover of the song "Brackish" by Kittie, and even the oldschool Christmas track that was only available online for a month. Big fans and family will definitely want to download this album and check out things they probably missed or never even knew about.

SHADOW PUPPETS: "SECOND ACT"
PART TWO IN THE EPIC SHADOW PUPPETS TRILOGY

A followup to the far-far underground "Eye4AnEye" album, the story continues as MadHatter becomes possessed once again by the tortured soul of Samuel Wren and is forced to write wicked rhymes and take the blood of the guilty every night. This time he's joined by two new Puppets in his mission! But when the Ventriloquist finally shows his face and confronts the team he has created, what will the outcome be for our three anti-heroes?
Cheesy horror storytelling at it's finest, you will find new tales of sinner removal, club hits that talk about branches and sticks, and a climax on the level of an episode of The Muppet Show. Odd, indeed.

M IS FOR MONDAY
POETRY SLAMS FOR THE OPEN-MINDED

In 2006 and a bit of 2007, Scrub Club's MadHatter hosted an event called "M Is For Monday." It was an event originally started by the amazing and generous Andrea Primm and she handed the reigns to Hatter while she was outside of the lower 48 states.

Every week, there was fresh music provided by DJ CutterJ and was held at the Bamboo Stix sushi and oriental restaurant. Regular poets were the Scrub Club Slam Team: MadHatter, CutterJ, and Chester, and also Sideburns, Jeremy Burden, Jarod, Ryan, and other interesting writers.

ANIME FESTIVAL WICHITA 2006
SECOND ANNUAL OLDSCHOOL NES TOURNAMENT

Originally, MadHatter was set as the planner and guy in charge of the festival, but due to differences with the company putting it on, plans were changed.

This time at our booth, conventiongoers got the 2006 sampler, four times the amount of free bracelets, flyers and autograph flats, and a few even bought pins, stickers, and No Dough pendants. The second NES Tournament saw many of last year's contenders back in the ring, but in the finals, 2005 winner Darrell squared off against and was beaten by Coda in the surprise round of "Urban Champion." Coda challenged Hatter for the glove and was defeated.

MADHATTER: "TENSIX"
REMASTERED ALBUM AND UPDATED ARTWORK

MadHatter's solo album was already a few years old, but when SCR decided to put all of their cds online for free, he remastered it as much as he could and gave the booklet new artwork for the re-release in 2006.

Featuring lots of concert sing-a-long staples and fan favorites, this cd may be older than all the others and the quality may not be up to the standards of the other newer music released from the label, but people are still digging it.

Contains the big Scrub Club hits "Fake" and "That's Ghetto."

SCRUB CLUB RECORDS SAMPLER 2006
ANIME FESTIVAL WICHITA 2006 SPECIAL EDITION

Time and budget problems limited the Scrubs to pressing up cheap, ghetto cdr samplers after MadHatter stepped down from the lead position at the Anime Festival.

The cut let them spend more money on the quantity of samplers, however, handing out at least twice as many cds as the year before. This sampler had two first looks at the new "Rewind and Refresh Volume Two," being Hatter's remixes for "Jus A Rascal" by Dizzee Rascal and "Never Leave You" by Lumidee. The tracks are now available on the Noncents Volume 2 album.

NERFMURDER: THE 10 MINUTE MOVIE
DEADLY NERF COMBAT, SHEEP, AND PSYCHOS

Lame humor + nerf guns + a sweet soundtrack apparently equals freshness, as people are loving the hell out of "Nerfmurder."

It all started as a decision out of nowhere to immediately start shooting an action movie of some sort in our old-ass house at the time, no script was written, and nothing was planned when filming started.

You can view this short movie on our Youtube anytime. But consider yourself warned. We bring the stupendous to the stupid.

12 MONTH PUPPETTES CALENDAR
SEXY DEAD CHICKS HELP YOU REMEMBER THE DATE

Another project Hatter is picking up in his spare time, the Puppettes calendar features 12 different gorgeous girls twisted and turned to the will of the Ventriloquist.

Lots of hot but destroyed bodies and cute puppet face paint greet you each month, and the days are printed in squares large enough for you to write and remember important dates and times.

This calendar should be finished and available for download December 2008.

CHEAPSHOT PHOTOGRAPHY
HIGH-QUALITY PICTURES FOR ALL BUDGETS

Come and gone, this side business was shut down due to the possibility of external photoshoots cramping and interfering with the time schedules of Scrub Club's own projects.

The idea was to provide the community of Wichita and the surrounding area with professional grade photography at about a tenth of the price.

Awesome clients we were happy to serve were the sexy-ass Wichita Aztec Dance Team and Get Down or Lay Down Records, shown here on the left.

PROJECT: COLDWAR
THE SCRUB CLUB SOLDIERS MARCH ON!

The big promotional attack launched by Scrub Club in 2005 was their biggest yet.

Cold War-era themed and packed with tools for the people on their street team, the project was a success in landing new fans and family.

It was the first full-on promotion for the label, with their team having access to a password-guarded vault of print-ready pictures and fliers, special team-only released music, texts full of useful information, and more.

PANIC ATTACK
DORKY TRADING CARD CAME

Designed only for novelty at Anime Festival Wichita 2005, these sweet gaming cards were custom made from the ground up, and even had a working game system idea planted behind the design.

Coventiongoers were given a full set of 6 cards to fill their collection.

Ever since, the label has been wanting to put out an actual game, whether it be a trading card game, a role playing game, board game, or even a horribly-edited video game. Favor was shifted in the way of a new RPG, Time Paradox.

ANIME FESTIVAL WICHITA 2005
FIRST ANNUAL OLDSCHOOL NES TOURNAMENT

When we heard of an anime and Japanese culture convention here in our very own town, we immediately grabbed some information and got on the bill.

First of all, the majority of the members of Scrub Club are anime, manga, and video game nerds and so are a good portion of our listeners. Passing out the 2005 sampler and some homemade bracelets donning the SCR name among other random phrases, we were joined by Doc from A Squared Records and had a blast meeting new people. Darrell (Shown here) won our first NES tournament and received prizes including a custom Nintendo made by Hatter.

THE FRONTLINE
STAGE WRECKERS SUPREME

Over time, a dominant stage team emerged, formed from three artists on the label.

MadHatter, and former artists Wookie and C.O.S. graced the crowds of Scrub Club shows and constructive chaos happened. The new members had not had much stage time, but learned and adapted quickly.

After C.O.S. parted from the label, It was only Hatter and Wookie left to carry on the flame, but as Wookie also left the label, Chester stepped up!

S.C.U.M.
SCRUB CLUB'S UNDERGROUND MOVIE

When will it be finished? Well, as the computer game company 3D Realms likes to say, "When it's done."

Full of music videos, skits, and stunts, only a few pieces have been filmed for the project.

As soon as Scrub Club can score a decent video camera again, this will be back on the drawing board. But until then, check out our awesome collection of clips and movies on our YouTube page.

SCRUB CLUB SAMPLER 2005
THE COLLAPSE BEGINS

After a reinvention of Scrub Club and their overall mission in preparing people for The Collapse, this sampler was made.

It had 42 minutes of free music on it from various projects.

It was the first appearance and announcement of the SCR supergroup "8up," featuring the tracks "Eight Scrubs" and "Deeper" and the premiere glimpse fans got of the Shadow Puppets album with the song "Puppet Show."
"MDLT" by former artist C.O.S. was also showcased here for the first time.

MADHATTER'S "FAKE" MUSIC VIDEO
THE FRESH VIDEO THAT ALMOST WAS

Possibly the most awesome music video to date from Scrub Club Records next to the Puppet Show video, it will most likely never see the light of day.

Filmed in three different locations, the scenes had MadHatter and the rest of the label in front of war memorials, a huge american flag, and what looked to be deep underground in a presidential fallout bunker.

Unfortunately, the owner of the video camera went back on his promise and kept the footage instead of releasing it after the label split that year.

8UP
THE SLIPKNOT OF HIP HOP

The members of this group consisted of MadHatter, former Scrub Club artists Anna Wrex, Wookie, C.O.S., Shai, Jorro, and CK, and the head of A Squared Records, Doc. Due to a label split, however, this awesome idea was trashed.

Nine tracks were produced for this cd before it was cancelled and have since been distributed to other Scrub Club projects. Most fans still have the catchy single "Eight Scrubs" memorized and are able to imitate all eight voices, usually ending with a good dose of laughter.

SHADOW PUPPETS "PUPPET SHOW" VIDEO
LEGENDARY MUSIC VIDEO ON LEGENDARY GROUND

The visually stunning, professional music video for "Puppet Show" was filmed at the creepy-ass "Garden of Eden" in Lucas, Kansas.

It was the first music video ever filmed on the historical S.P. Dinsmoor property, with some shots just ten feet from old man Dinsmoor's open-glass grave. It was an honor. We hope he dug the music.

After the shoot, all members went on a tour through the old house and even saw Samuel's corpse as it lies to this day in his open mausoleum.

MADHATTER: "KREEPY CUTS"
3 HALLOWEEN TALES FROM THE HATTER

This small EP was released on Halloween 2004 and was on sale for $5 starting at the Underground Rising show at the Playdium with other groups Tempest, Doc, and D.R.E.

It featured three demented tracks that would later be implemented into the "Second Act" album: "Melody," "Insomnia," and "Had A Bad Day."

After the Shadow Puppets resurfaced, however, the songs were identified as influences from The Ventriloquist and were put in the proper place.

GRAFIX NINJA
PREMIUM GRAPHICS DESIGN FOR CHEAP

Another service for the low-budgeted in the Wichita community, Scrub Club launched their first side business.

It offered extremely competitive pricing on graphics design and print consulting, as Hatter worked at a Kinko's at the time and wanted to hook up the people in need.

In the end, the numerous projects were overwhelming for just one person to accomplish and still run Scrub Club, so Hatter had to stop at 16 clients.

SCRUB CLUB SAMPLER 2004
GROWING AND GROWING

This sampler was a real turning point for Scrub Club as they were just beginning to get serious with their musical plans.

Mostly some selected cuts off of Hatter's Tensix album, which was new at the time, it also represented a lot of firsts. This was the disc that first featured Scrub Club hits "Ganon Slayer," "Doomed," and "Cut Your Grass."

Also on this cd is the only release of Hyper Sniper's dope track "Less Than Brutal," which was going to be on his first pro-pressed album "The Savage."

THE SINISTER SIX: "ULTIMATE NULLIFIER"
THE FIRST SECRET SUPER-POWERED PROJECT

This is it. The album that could have put Wichita on any map you could pull out of a truckstop anywhere in the world.

This was Scrub Club's secret weapon, a group of the six finest emcees in the 316 coming together to be an unbeatable force. Artists included were MadHatter, Phatboi 2000, XV, Cadence, Bloody Hands, and Nathan Slimm.

Three songs were recorded before the project came to a halt due to a couple of artists from other labels not pulling their weight.

MADHATTER: "OLIVER HEIGHTS"
SCRAPPED SECOND SOLO ALBUM

This was supposed to be the followup to MadHatter's first cd "Tensix," but due to the recording being put off time and time again for other planned group albums, the cd was forever put in limbo. The disc was named after the laundromat in Hatter's neighborhood at the time, a dump he adored.

All of the songs that were recorded for it appear now on the "Noncents" album. Instead of working on this forgotten project, Hatter's second solo disc will now be the once mentioned "John Henry" album, which will take him in a direction this album never would have dared to go.

MADHATTER: "REWIND AND REFRESH"
CONTINUOUS REMIX ALBUM

12 tracks straight, this album is composed of new versions of songs you've heard in the past and a few that have never reached your ears.

Perfect for road trips or nights when you just want to loop up some music and dance your plump ass off, Rewind and Refresh has nearly 53 minutes of music that never slows down from a steady 120bpm.

Guaranteed to get you out of your seat and boogie, if you don't... then you must have a dead posterior. Go see a proctologist. Asshole.

MADHATTER: "TENSIX"
THE ORIGINAL, THE FIRST

15 tracks coming from some of the darker and more painful moments in Hatter's life. Although there's quite a few angry songs on this album that he just had to get off his chest, there's also the goofy hits "That's Ghetto," "Put Em Up," and the disturbingly sexy "Wiggle" with his long-time homie KnightDetective. It contains many songs that are well-known for being sung along to during Scrub Club's live sets.

A learning experience, it was entirely written and produced by MadHatter himself and recorded with the local Wichita legend Tommy Carlyle.

SHADOW PUPPETS: "EYE4ANEYE"
THE FIRST CHAPTER IN THE PUPPETS LEGACY

The little-known first Shadow Puppets cd was limited to about 50 copies when it was released in 2002. It was the first time MadHatter and his bandmate Wicket Slang had ever produced and recorded music. Let's just say that Hatter has learned a LOT since then.

Things were going great and the two frontmen were destroying stages and selling their cds at ten bucks a pop. However, about a year later, the original Shadow Puppets group disbanded due to differences over money and rumors. This is where Scrub Club's anti-greed formula began.
