ALBUM FACTS AND TRIVIA
There isn't much backstory for this cd in general since it is just a collection, but here's some interesting stories behind some of the songs:

"Doomed," "Way Back," "Brackish," and "Rednecks" were all tracks that were made for MadHatter's second solo album "Oliver Heights," but due to that project being put off for other planned group albums, the cd was scrapped.

"Cut Your Grass" was a track that was going to be on Hyper Sniper's album "The Savage" when he was an artist on Scrub Club Records.

"Deeper" and "Eight Scrubs" were both going to be on a cd from the supergroup "8up" which members consisted of MadHatter, anna rexia, former Scrub Club artists C.O.S., Wookie, Shai, Jorro, and CK, and the head of A Squared Records, Doc. Due to a label split, however, this awesome idea was trashed.

"Way Back" was the first time local Wichita artist D.R.E. had recorded in a professional studio. The chorus to the song was made up on the spot.

"Nowhere" was written by TNA, or Twitch 'N' Acid, a group formerly on Scrub Club Records in 2003. Only three songs were ever recorded before they left the label to do their own thing, and they were recorded on the famous $6 mic with a sock as a pop filter. This is the only track that has been recovered since then, and was definately their freshest. If only it was recorded on professional equipment... This group now exists as "Side FX."

"Lost In The Madness" was the first-ever collaboration MadHatter had done, and his first with Hyper Sniper. It was done completely online by sending parts back and forth.

"Who Am I" is a rough collaboration track, but MadHatter still has the ability to throw in nerdy references like Kirby's Dreamland, Silicon Valley, and the Kingpin, Wilson Fisk.

"Fuck(ed) The Police" was anna rexia's submission for a Valentine's Day EP called "Whoremoans." That small cd was also going to have the hits "One Nut Stand" by CK, "Strung Up" by the Shadow Puppets, "Only The Cool Boys Kiss" by Shai and anna rexia, and a sexy damn track by MadHatter and XV. Due to missed deadlines by some former Scrub Club artists at the time, the project was scrapped.

"MDLT" was the first time former Scrub Club artist C.O.S. ever recorded.

"A Scrub Club Christmas" was the first time anna rexia ever recorded. Also the only song by Scrub Club that may feature 3-part harmony, haha.

"3am Freestyle" was recorded in 2003 when MadHatter was just bored and up late. He doesn't particularly care for it, but some people that have heard it before recommended this spontaneous freestyle poem for this album.
